On November 28, at 6 PM, Atlanta Church held a special Thanksgiving Service and Dinner, bringing together a warm group of 16 adults and 6 children for an evening of worship, reflection, and fellowship. Pastor Thomas led the service with a heartfelt sermon centered on the theme of gratitude. He drew from several key scriptures, including Colossians 3:15-17, 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18, and Philippians 4:6, emphasizing the importance of giving thanks in all circumstances. Pastor Thomas reminded the congregation that gratitude is not just a seasonal expression but a way of life, as we are called to rejoice always, pray continually, and present our requests to God with thanksgiving.

After the service, church members gathered for a warm and festive Thanksgiving dinner, where the spirit of fellowship filled the room. The meal, which lasted until 10 PM, was a time of joy, laughter, and sharing, as everyone enjoyed each other’s company and celebrated the blessings of the year. The evening provided an opportunity for members to connect, strengthen relationships, and build a sense of community.

As we reflect on this season of thankfulness, it’s clear that God has richly blessed Atlanta Church. We look forward to continuing to grow together in faith, serving one another, and bearing fruit for His kingdom. May God continue to guide and bless the church, empowering its members to be a light in the community and to make a lasting impact in His name. The Thanksgiving service and dinner served as a beautiful reminder of the power of gratitude and the importance of coming together as a church family.
